Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery partners with Sound Works for Memorial Day Service

Lincoln Memorial Cemetery Sound WorksELWOOD, IL – Sound Works Productions, Inc., helped the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with their annual Memorial Day service this Monday, May 26th. The event draws thousands who wish to pay their respects to the men and women who have served our country in the armed forces.

The audio system provided clear reproduction of the Joliet American Legion Band, the Elwood and Coal City grade school choir, and several guest speakers – including Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln re-enactors.

Sound Works Productions teams up with Midwest ChurchAlive Summit

Sound Works Productions, Inc. provided audio, lighting, and video production for  the Midwest Church Alive Summit on April 11-13 which included members and friends of The First Church of Christ, Scientist from the Midwest region.
IMG_0002The multi-day event was held in the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center, and included a main area where the entire 700 attendees gathered for meals and to watch panel discussions and presentations in addition to 9 ‘break-out’ rooms with their own audio and presentation systems.
Sound Works worked with the event coordinator for over a month to ensure every detail was captured. Ben Fassl, Account Manager at Sound Works, said the “level of involvement allowed for a smooth implementation, and the client was happy.”

Sound Works Pro Tapped for Philfest, Chooses NEXO and Yamaha

Philfest is an annual collaboration between A&O Productions and Students for Ecological and Environmental Development (SEED) at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. The event features bluegrass and folk music as part of an effort to promote environmental awareness and also raises money for the Rocky Mountain Institute, a non-profit aimed at the sustainable use of resources. The day is held in honor of Phil Semmer, a former SEED member, who passed away while studying abroad.

Held this year in early May at Northwestern on the Norris Center’s East Lawn, Sound Works Productions, Inc. of Frankfort, Ill. was once again tapped to provide audio production. This year, the sound company provided five NEXO GEO S12’s flown, two RS18’s Ray Subs per side ground stacked with two NEXO PS10s speakers used for front fills, all driven with their NEXO NX4x4 amp rack. A Yamaha M7CL was used at front of house with anLS9 at monitors. The Deadly Gentleman from Boston headlined, followed by Sunnyside Up, and Todd Kessler.
